WAVES4LIFEEd HolmeEd was born and educated in Zimbabwe before taking A levels in the UK and then reading Engineering at Imperial College. He went to Sandhurst and then served in the British Special Forces. He returned to a distressed Zimbabwe on the 1st of January 2010 and since then he has been piecing together a serious mental health awareness strategy very much needed in the fledgling 40-year-old democracy of Zimbabwe.

WIND4LIFEMunyaradzi MajoniBorn and raised in Zimbabwe, Munya is an accountant whose clients include NGOs and insurance companies. As a Master of Business Administration his passion for business and creating new start-up projects has seen him progress to other sectors, whilst continuing to develop a multi-sector strategy that will see him taking proofs of concept and Zimbabwean successes into an emerging regional reality over the coming decades.

Security and LogisticsJames MacilwaineBorn and raised in Zimbabwe, James did a stint in the British military and has since provided management, security and logistics services in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania. He co-founded and spent two years as the Operations Manager for the Matusadona Anti-Poaching Project (MAPP), on the Zimbabwean side of Lake Kariba. James and his team will provide, on a rotational basis, all the security and support that Nick and his guest walkers will need, from wild animals, such as lion,buffalo, and hippo, to armed poachers.

GovernanceJonny Rees-DaviesJonny was educated at Nottingham University and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst before serving for 10 years in the British Army where he served in Bosnia and Iraq. Since leaving the army, he has had a successful career in the property industry and as an entrepreneur, running his own philanthropic business employing destitute Veterans to help them overcome mental health issues and find jobs.

FundraisingConrad Wing-DaviesConrad competed in elite level sport for 20 years in a range of adventure and endurance sports, most notably Adventure Racing, a sport as mentally challenging as it is physical. A Change & Transformation specialist, he has just returned back to the UK after 8 years in Zimbabwe working for the UK Government.
